Wide wheels seem to handle uneven paving better than thinner wheeled scooters. This scooter is well built and rolls well with excellent bearings. It is a bit heavier than most, but not enough to be an issue unless used by someone very young. My two girls age 5 and 9 are always taking a shot and they like it better than their light kids scooters.
All parts being separate and replaceable is a good idea, if I had to criticise anything it would be the brake which needs a good bit of pressure to do much, at least with a 12 and a half stone bloke on it!
I had an original micro scooter, which I used for about 8 years not stop before it needed major attention, so I would recommend this brand if you are going to use your scooter a lot.
