In use the Vtriker is excellent and children are able to get the hang of making it move within a few seconds. To make it move you let your legs spread out sideways in opposite directions simultaneously then you draw your legs back in, just like you make yourself move when skating but you do both of the legs simultaneously rather than pushing off alternately. Every stroke out makes you go a bit faster. <br /> <br />The Vtriker scores an easy 100% for durability but that is at the cost of weight. That weight is no problem until you need to carry it. Even when folded it is an awkward thing to carry and if you hold it folded with the pair of wheels pointing up they fall left and right into the fully extended V. A catch to hold the V together when carrying it and maybe a carry strap on the front post would do wonders for its portability. It also has no suitable loops of metal you could put a bicycle chain through to secure it to something although there is a two plastic loop at the back of each footplate. The front wheel lights up in the dark with multi-coloured LEDs although the wheel itself could possibly do with being a bit bigger for a smoother ride over urban pavements. <br /> <br />This is an excellent product which, with a little more thought and customer feedback could be made outstanding. Coming back from the park on the first outing we heard four separate people comment on it.
